(My domain is registered with Wix. I changed the cname at my domain setup to ns1 dot infinityfree dot com and ns2.infinityfree dot com etc. Added domain at Infinityfree as well. Did this an hour ago. I get the mentioned error. Not sure if its related to domain propagation or any setup pending. How to conclude? )

You can remove that, it won’t work.

The easiest way to point a domain name to our hosting is by changing the nameservers. But a quick Google search tells me that’s not possible with Wix. For that reason, my first recommendation is to transfer your domain away from Wix if you don’t intend to use their website building/hosting service.

A slightly more difficult way to add your domain to our hosting is by using CNAME and A records, which it appears you can configure through Wix. This guide tells more about that:

The name server adding of ns1 and ns2 , I did more than 3 days ago.

Thanks for the reply. I tried the points mentioned. That is 1. removing the unwanted DNS entry at my domain provider (wix) 2. Add the custom cname record (wix) 3. Checked the same in google toolbox site mentioned. 3. Delete and add the domain at the hosting site (infinityfree). Currently my website is still down, the error being - www.riversongstours…com ’s server IP address could not be found. Any suggestion? Thanks for your help in advance.
