Error Message

(I was recently configuring namecheap to use zohomail. Everything became complicated and in the end, I configured the DNS directed to Infinityfree and I have been waiting for 3 days and now my page cannot be seen. I need help how to solve my problem. thank you)

Other Information

(I already configured the Infinityfree 3 dian domain servers before)

If you are talking about the nameserver records, no, you have not. Your namservers are set to their default values with your registrar.

If you don’t want to change your namservers, you can use CNAME for verification :

where can I find the exact information and then go to namecheap and create the cname record

Did you read the article first? Anyway, if you didn’t, you’ll have to try adding the domain on your hosting account first (and not create a hosting account with that domain). Like so the system will give you the CNAME you’ll have to create on your domain registrar’s DNS panel.

It had already been working on infinityfree for months. The problem was that in order to configure Zohomail, I had to reinstall the basic Namecheap servers. Then I put the infinityfree servers back in and now the page doesn’t work. I need the code to go to namecheap to create the cname record

I just checked your domain name, and it’s using Namecheap’s nameservers. Both DNS lookups and WHOIS lookups confirm that these are the nameservers which are set. If you would like to use our nameservers instead, please ensure that our nameservers are configured for your domain with your domain provider Namecheap.

You can use both email from Zoho and website hosting from us on the same domain. However, you can only use DNS hosting provider for your domain name, and you’ll need to make sure the right records are setup there for every service you use.

If you’re trying to setup Zoho mail, you’re probably running into the issue that configuring the DKIM records is not possible in our nameservers. If so, you can use Namecheap’s nameservers instead, but then you’ll have to configure the DNS records at Namecheap yourself so your website traffic goes to your hosting account with us.

Hi, friend. That’s what I tried but if I configure zohomail I have to use namecheap’s name servers and if I do that, I lose the view of my page with infinityfree. I’m desperate. I don’t want zohomail anymore. I urgently need my page to be displayed. 3 days ago I added the infinityfree servers but I read that it is not necessary. I just need to add a cname record. I already did it 2 hours ago and I don’t see my website with infinityfree

Then congratulations because you have read it wrong. Adding CNAME records for verification never makes your domain work.

Adding A records do, and changing the authoritive nameservers do. In fact, once you have set the domain up, you do not need any kind of verification anymore and I can say that you’ve wasted your time setting up those CNAMEs.

I would just suggest that keep ZoHo as well as the namecheap NS. Just add the appropriate A records in namecheap and it will do.

The guide below is written specifically for Cloudflare, but most of it can also be applied to other DNS services.

Then just go back to our nameservers. You can configure your domain to host your website with us with other nameservers too, but it’s more complicated.
