Ftp not allowing me to add directory

And your .htaccess or index.php have a problem, that is why your site can’t be reached. Better check it and correct it with yourself (maybe its a private file).

I have question to asked you:

Is your wordpress installed in sbrlive.co.uk or in sbrlive.epizy.com? (Based on your wordpress installation)

That’s also what I’m thinking. If you did just installed the wordpress to epizy.com just before your addon domain was pointed to nameservers. Better reinstall again the wordpress to your addon domain (co.uk) with https (if you have a https ssl certificate) or http if you dont have.

Try @katufo solution.

Ok so this maybe a stupid question but how do I reinstall to sbrlive.co.uk

By navigating to Softcalous (softacalous) from your control panel.

Uninstall first the wordpress from your epizy.com.
Click on Wordpress CMS.
Then Install the wordpress again to your co.uk. Use the quick install button.

Make sure that you have also deleted the sbrlive.epizy.com from your subdomain or addon domain.

right ive done that and my site has now gone back to a basic wp page ???

Sorry for being late. Before you reinstall Wordpress, make sure you backup the database , themes and plugins. When not backed up, your data is lost.

well its a good job i did do that so if i restore off this back up wont it restore the epizy.com site

Yes, restoring backup will be very safe and will not make the error again

nope still the same
and it has restored the epizy.com file too

It’s working fine now! (sbrlive.co.uk)

Try clearing your caches. And reinstall again your desired theme and plugins for your wordpress.

well ive just tried it on a completely different browser

and this is what ive got which is not how my website was before

It was because you did just reinstall your wordpress into a new fresh one.

Reinstall the wordpress theme again that you have chosen from your previous one, and also those plugins.

but i also restored my backup which should of restored my website should it not?

What kind of backup is that? Just the Database or files? It should be those files and folder in order for you to restore the theme layout from your previous one.

You can just install the theme from the wordpress Theme dashboard, and those plugins.

right so ive done all that so now how do i get all the content back on my website that was there before ?

ive sorted it i unistalled that previous instalation you told me to do and did a staging from my epizy.com and now my site is back to how it was before thank you for all your help i just need to sort my ssl out now .
