The domain name 000.pe is currently suspended by the registry. Because of this issue, all subdomains under the 000.pe domain are currently unreachable.
Which components are affected by this issue
All subdomains under the 000.pe domain are currently unreachable.
Our own infrastructure is unaffected by this. So you can rest assured that your files, databases and other account contents are safe, and will be available exactly as they were before. You are also free to backup your content or migrate it to a different domain name if you want.
What issues may you see
If you try to access a subdomain under the 000.pe domain, you will see some kind of DNS lookup error or domain not found error. SSL issuance and renewal on these subdomains are also affected
When will this issue be resolved
We are trying to get in touch with the registry to get this issue resolved. However, we are ultimately dependent on the registry to restore the domain name.
thank you for informing us. I was worried. So we have to do nothing with our website settings or with the control pannel settings right? as this happened because 000.pe is suspended globaly by the registry… and one more question, is there any risk that 000.pe websites are never gonna work? if not, then how long would it take to fix this issue, any guess?
Thank You for informing me about this issue. I was wondering why jritest.000.pe wasn’t working for me. I’m hopeful you guys are able to bring this Domain On-Line again. If you are unable, I’m okay with reserving another site for testing things without affecting my main sites.
The domain 000.pe indeed appears to be taken down by the registry. It’s unclear exactly who did this or why, because we have not received any warning or notice about this beforehand.
I have contacted our registrar Namecheap to try and get this issue resolved.
It’s impossible to say when this will be resolved. I’m talking with Namecheap now, and hopefully we can iron out this issue quickly. I hope we can solve this within the next few hours.
But please understand that I’m entirely at the mercy of external parties. I cannot control how fast they will respond, or how quickly they can (and want to) resolve this issue.
It has nothing to do with the hosting servers themselves. If your site is hosted on a subdomain of any of the working domain names (or you have a custom domain), then it works fine. Unless you have a different issue of course, but you’ll want to create a new thread for that.
Namecheap has confirmed that this is indeed a registry level suspension. They have contacted the registry about this, but we need to wait for the registry now to respond.
It’s unknown how fast they will respond or how well they are willing to cooperate. I will reply here once I have more information.
How could we transfer from 000.pe to another domain is there a way from infinityfree to do that or we should use the ftp on our side. and if the domain 000.pe then why I can’t access my website with it’s IP address
The easiest way to do that is to add a new domain or subdomain, and indeed use FTP to move the files to the new directory.
InfinityFree uses name-based virtual hosting. Your IP address is actually shared between you and everyone else whose hosting account is on the same server as you. Whenever you connect to your website’s hostname, that hostname is sent to the server as part of your request so you can be sent to the specific site with that domain name. The server doesn’t know where to send you if you try to access the IP address directly.
