Your FTP account quota has been exceeded

I’m getting the quota exceeded error when I use the File Manager and FileZilla no longer connects to the server, despite everything on my account appearing correct and statistics showing this:

|Disk Quota:|5 GB|
|Disk Space Used:|1113 MB|
|Disk Free:|3887 MB|
|Inodes Used:|4 % (2655 of 59400)|

What could the problem be?

That’s a common error with the online file manager.

What error are you getting with file Zilla? Fixing that might be the best option

I’ve used FileZilla via the exact same login credentials for months, daily. It suddenly quit connecting. I’ve doublechecked all of the settings. That’s when I turned to the InfinityFree File Manager to upload my files. But it’s giving me the exceeded quota error. Nothing is exceeded.

It connects to the epizy server, but it doesn’t allow access. I’ve doublechecked and even changed my password, but keep getting this:

|Command:|PASS **************|
|Response:|530 Login authentication failed|
|Error:|Critical error: Could not connect to server|

Did you do this?

After closing and reopening FileZilla, it’s now timing out on epizy as well. Prior to restarting the program, it would connect quickly, but gave the login error. I think something about those ftp platforms is getting blocked.

The “Online File Manager” link on the control panel page allows upload, without the error, but not the filemanager.ai that’s linked from the “File Manager” button on the accounts page. They appear identical, but the ‘File Manager’ route gives the ‘quota exceeded’ error every time.

Judging by your logs, the ftp.epizy.com domain is not leading you to the right IP address. Could you please try connecting directly to 185.27.134.11 instead?

That’s where it’s currently looking for epizy.

Did you try to login many times unsuccessfully? Then you may have been flagged by a security filter on our FTP server and be temporarily blocked from accessing it. If so, the issue should resolve itself automatically after a short while. So please just try again later.

This actually started last week. I thought it may just be a glitch that would get fixed, so after failing to connect 2 or 3 times, I simply waited until the next day to try again. It’s been about a week since I was last able to connect via FileZilla and there have been a couple of times I waited more than 24 hours to try again.
