Wordpress installation issue

check this please and tell me whats wrong

It lost connection mid installation. Just refresh and try again.

Happens from time to time, particularly with larger installations. I’ve not tried wordpress, so I don’t know if there’s a specific problem with that, but I’d say give it another go

This guide might help you too:

i’ve been trying to install it i tried more than one theme still

i installed it but it doesn’t seem to work
i uploaded many themes but they don’t work it stuck to the installed theme

I’m glad it managed to install.

I’ve not used wordpress in a long time, but last time I used it, after uploading the theme, you need to change it in the dashboard to use the new theme.

smh something is wrong it got me to cpanel i know the username i set it myself and the password yet it doesn’t let me in

activated the new theme still shows the old theme

Have you tried clearing your Cache\using an incognito window? I know that most browsers cache wordpress themes so it can load the page quicker next time it loads.

If that doesn’t work, I’m affraid this falls outside of my experince now. I hope someone else who knows more about wordpress can help you.

did that all

please check and show me screenshot

I don’t know what your theme is meant to look like, but this is what I get when I look? Doesn’t look like the default theme to me, but again, I don’t really know alot about wordpress. I prefer building my own site from scratch.

that’s the first main theme it doesn’t want to leave me alone

In that case I’m afraid I cant help any further. Hopefully someone with more wordpress experience than me can help you out

Softaculous uses a cPanel instance for integration, but it’s not the same as InfinityFree’s control panel that customers use (VistaPanel). You don’t need to log into that- if that happens just exit out of it and click the Softaculous button again. It tends to happen if you’re away from the Softaculous page for long periods of time while it’s open.

What do you mean, exactly? Is that the one you’re trying to install? It’s definitely not the default WordPress theme.

People will help when they are available. At present, it doesn’t look like anyone is available who knows how to help you.

I’m sorry about that.

Admin has pings turned off, so that wont get their attention. They are on the forum regularly, and will provide what help they can when they can. But running a hosting service takes a lot of time and work.

I’ve done a bit of googling about the issue you are facing, and the generally suggested solution is to uninstall the theme you don’t want, and to only have the theme you do want installed.

That way the wrong theme cant be “stuck” for you.
