Website server cannot be found

Website URL

https://cengcsc.rf.gd

Error Message

When I open the website using either Wi-Fi or Smart mobile data, Safari displays: “The server can’t be found.”

Other Information

My website https://cengcsc.rf.gd/ suddenly stopped working, although it was accessible previously.

My hosting account and domain both show as Active in the control panel. The domain’s A record resolves to 185.27.134.149 according to Google Admin Toolbox DNS lookup.

Welcome to the InfinityFree community forum! Good to have you here.

  • Most people answering here are volunteers. They’re often the fastest source of help. Admin (the only staff member) checks in about once a day for issues on our end.
  • Volunteers can’t see your account or website. Share what you actually see, like error messages and what happens when you try something. That’s more useful than your theory of what’s wrong.
  • AI tools often get InfinityFree wrong. If a volunteer’s advice differs from what an AI told you, please try the volunteer’s suggestion first.
  • Solving an issue is a joint effort. Try the suggestions you get and report back what happened.

Beep boop, I’m a bot! I dug through the forum to get you started. I sometimes get things wrong though, so do with this what you will until a human has a look.

Does the site open if you switch your device to a public DNS resolver such as Google’s 8.8.8.8 or Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1, or connect through a VPN? Which country and network provider are you on? Safari’s “The server can’t be found” means your device couldn’t look up the address. Those two checks show whether the lookup only fails on your networks’ default DNS or everywhere.

The account looks fine from here. It’s active, and the website IP matches the A record you found. So the hosting side matches what you saw.

There’s another recent topic with a similar symptom, where the site opened only after the poster changed their DNS setting. It might be the same thing, and your answers would show whether it is.

It’s working for me. How recently did you set up the site?

If it’s within 72 hours you may need to wait for DNS propagation to complete

We have an article specifically about these kinds of errors, which can be found here. Can you please check it?
