Website is called "InfinityFree" in search results

My website looks like this in search results:

Why is it calling my website “InfinityFree”?

But I use AIOSEO instead of Yoast SEO, and I set the site name in there when installing the plugin but it’s still called InfinityFree in the results

Also take note that Google indexes websites calmly, so changes to the site name in the top can also take weeks if not months, unless you have your website added to the Search Console; in that case you can request reindexing and hope for the best after a few weeks, up to a month or two.

I don’t use Google Search Console, but my website got indexed

Then you should wait until google re-crawls your site itself.

It’s also impressive the site got indexed, when literally NONE of my other websites got indexed. The site and all of the sites it links to are indexed. I did not use GSC. What determines whether the page will be thrown in the SERP after a few weeks, a month, or several months?

Google determines that. As to how Google determines that or what they base it on, only someone working on Google Search might be able to tell you that.

I’d like to add that one of the ways sites get indexed without using the search console is with backlinks- links to your site on site’s that are already indexed (such as this forum for example). But Google keeps the exact algorithm confidential.

I changed the site title from [Site Title] to “Alvin’s Learning Worlds”, now I’ll wait for the changes to propagate.

Speaking of which how long does it take? It should be quicker as Google already knows my site now.

I have no idea how long it will take. Only Google knows.

Not necessarily. It could still take months before Google re-indexes it, especially if you don’t have your domain in GSC and request a re-indexing.
