Other Information

I’m having an issue with my website title on Google Search. Currently, it is showing up as “Gizmonest.live” but it should display as “Gizmonest.” I’ve checked my WordPress settings, .htaccess file, and everything seems fine on my end. I’ve tried everything to resolve this issue, but it’s still not fixed.

make sure you have correct <title> tag in your html. and usually updating the name in search result page is not instant, it takes time.

I did that two days ago. I believe it’s related to infinitefree hosting and their aggressive caching on free hosting.

2 days is not enough. It can take days, weeks or even month for google to re-crawl your page.

IF has no caching on the services side. The server just instructs your browser to cache the files for a long time.

It’s totally up to Google when they crawl your website, hosting providers have no control or say in it.

What about my other website? That website has been on Google for 3 months, and it still shows up the same way as this one. Same Hosting. I have another website hosted on a different server, and that one is working perfectly fine.

there is nothing about hosting. google doesn’t specify when they gonna re-crawl your site. with google search console you can see which copy of your homepage they have last crawled.

Do you also have a Site Name tag on your website? Because that’s ultimately the main source of truth for Google to render that top part of the link, not the page title.

It’s already there
