I deleted some off-topic replies.
To summarize the current situation:
- Around the 6th of February, we experienced a technical issue where all files on hosting volumes vol1_7, vol1_8 and vol2_8 were lost.
- We were able to recover a backup of volumes vol1_7 and vol1_8 from September last year, and were able to restore it to most accounts. This does mean that:
- Any changes made since September last year were lost.
- Any accounts created after the backup were made are lost completely.
- No backups existed for hosting volume vol2_8. All files on this volume were lost.
Please note again that this only affects website files. All databases of accounts on these servers are completely unaffected. So if you were using a CMS like WordPress, then all posts, pages, settings and other content of your website still exists on your account and can be used to reconstruct your website.
The initial issue that caused the data corruption was quickly fixed and the websites on these volumes have been working normally since then.
That means issues that are NOT related to this outage are:
- Anything that affects partial functionality of your website.
- Any new file issues since the 6th of February.
