Hi, happy new year, my problems :
I uploaded a file, a pdf. This size is 101,3 mb. But it disappear immediatly when it arrives on the server. I don’t understand.
Also, up to 1 mb the pdf don’t open.
Is it because of my free account?
Thank you to answer me. : )

I’d missed the fact Bertrand said the file was 101.3mb. well spotted.
@Bertrand the important bit for you from that theread is probably this bit
File size limits
The size limits are:
HTML, PHP and JS files are limited to 1 MB.
.htaccess files are limited to 10 kB.
All other files are limited to 10 MB.
But do read the whole thing, its really good info

First of all, PDF files aren’t allowed on InfinityFree hosting (I know, it’s weird but things happen):
I just checked the ticket correspondence and the statement in there seems quite clear:
ALL PDFS are not allowed on free hosting anymore.
Which tells me that 1) PDFs are indeed blanket banned and 2) this is probably a fairly new rule.
I didn’t know that this was the case. Although I have seem quite a few bad sites using PDFs to do nasty stuff. And I can imagine PDF inspection isn’t easy enough that scanning the contents of PDFs is feasible.
Also, files greater than the limits posted will automatically be removed:
Sometimes, when you upload a file, the upload is completed but the file is deleted immediately afterwards. This is usually caused by one of the following issues:
The file is not in a htdocs folder
All websites files must be uploaded to either the main htdocs folder, or to the domain specific htdocs folder (like example.com/htdocs).
You cannot upload files to other directories on your account. If you try to create or upload files anywhere else, they will be deleted automatically.
The file type…

I don’t realise pdfs were banned. I must have missed that when going through the rules… That’s a shame
PDFs are no longer banned, fortunately.
That’s a 2021 topic. Things can change.
This article actually used to include PDF in it, but was changed to APK sometime ago. Because things did change — the restriction was lifted and it’s now possible to upload PDFs.
Of course, things might change again, and I’m not arguing with you — I’m just sharing what I know about this and why there’s no PDF in this article any more.
The filesize limit of 10 MB still applies however.
