Is this just a propagation issue? If so I will wait it out.

Welcome to the forum. If your site is less than 72 hours old it’s probably a propergation issue.

If it’s been more than 72 hours we can discuss other potential causes

OK. Thanks for your reply.

Notice of suspension (for what?) Can’t view website. Can’t update code (no access to file manager) . which I have cleaned up, Luckily this is for staging. Nothing mission critical.

We can’t tell you anything about suspensions from the forum. That’s something that’s handled completely by IFastNet (who provide the underly infrastructure that InfinityFree runs on).

If you go to your dashboard it’ll give you more information, and you should have a banner there.

this article from Admin should help:

Although my guess is either CPU or Hits limit.

are you using something like wordpress with elementor? Elementor is known to be very resource heavy

Thank you for the prompt reply. Truth be told, the lack of coherent messaging regarding account suspension reason(s) is enough to red-flag this “experiment.” I am very likely moving on to another hosting service, such as GitHub pages. My website is only a single html text page, which will in the real world get very little traffic, and I don’t need this hassle. I am using no third party services, and I don’t believe my page is using any external resources. I was going to replace it with even more simplified code but I can’t even access the file manager at this point, so I give up.

I completly understand your frustration. While I have always found the suspension emails to be meaningful (I’ve only had it happen twice) I know some people have said they arn’t as clear. Particularly for permeant suspensions, which are usually just listed as “abuse” but could be a wide number of things.

When an account is suspended, everything is disabled, including FTP (and the file manager) until the suspension is lifted. for temporary suspensions, this is 24 hours. If its a permanent suspension, then you can raise a ticket from your dashboard to request reactivation or a backup.

Based on what you’ve said, my immediate guess is that you’ve gotten unlucky and fell victim to a DDOS attack :frowning: really annoying.
