Same Issue with me
I have 404 error
Hi,
website address?
Check the home directory of your domain
In the Domains page of your account in the client area, you can find the domains of your account and the folders on your account they are linked to.
Please make sure that the domain folder listed there actually exists on your account (every URL will redirect to a 404 page if the domain’s website folder is missing), and that you uploaded your website files to that directory.
Did you check the article already?
Yes. I Add all my file in htdocs
please check by your side…
Are you sure that that is the correct location? Did you check the Domains page in the client area to verify that your domain is actually linked to the htdocs directory?
How could i verify?
How about:
Please actually read the full answers people give you, don’t jump to conclusions halfway.
Why did you edit the .htaccess file that says “DO NOT EDIT”?
Remove your edits from that file and follow the instructions in the ####’s to properly setup your rules.
ok i removed. still not working, 404 error found
Please note line 3 in that file which says DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE
. I’m also not sure why you’re looking in .htaccess files to begin with, because nobody told you to, and I don’t think it’s a .htaccess problem.
When I said “check the domains list”, I mean:
- Login to the client area at https://dash.infinityfree.com
- Click your hosting account in the list.
- Go to the Domains menu on that page.
- Find your domain name in the list, and check the Directory field next to it.
That’s where the files for your domain name should be uploaded.
If you’re not sure if you uploaded the files to the right location, you can click the File Manager link to your domain name. Does it immediately show you your website files? Then they’re uploaded to the right location. Do you see an empty directory? Then your website files are in the wrong location.
can you click this button and take a screenshot of what you see (monstaFTP and files if they exist)
NOTE: don’t let the address in the address bar be visible… don’t catch that (because if someone sees that address here in a forum that is public, anyone can access your FTP).
OK
take a picture of this now
show as code of .htaccess
and files in this htdocs
