Skritavlast.com No active domain

I want to ask why I cannot host my own domain skritavlast.com, which is purchased, and host it on a free hosting service when I try to add it?

I don’t know, you tell us why you cannot host it.

You should be able to host your domain name like this:

If that’s not working for you for some reason, can you tell us more about the issue you’re running into?

Welcome to the forum XenoByte
Can you share a screenshot of the error you’re getting when trying to add the domain to your account please? With this information, we might be able to help you more

Welcome to the InfinityFree Forum @XenoByte!

Isn’t it convenient that I didn’t need to look for a tutorial, one is already in our docs for your hosting provider?

When I used it there it said that the domain can no longer be added since it is registered with another hosting. I used to host it again from your host. I removed it because I forgot the infinityfree data and made the one that was a backup plan.

Now I’ll try to see if the domain can be hosted here again.

I looked up the domain name, and it appears to be registered to an account which was accessed from your IP address, and is using an email address that’s very similar to the one you’re using.

So it looks to me like you signed up before and assigned the domain to an account already.

Please see if you can remember which email address you were using and try to login to your old profile. If you can login, you can either remove the domain from your old account, or just setup your website on the account that’s already fully set up.

I know the email address, but I’ve forgotten the password. The account is registered with an old phone number that no longer exists, and I don’t have any active SIM cards anymore. I currently use only Wi-Fi without any personal data or phone numbers, since SIM cards are valid for just one year and then expire, so I can’t update the registration.
I would like the account registered with @gmail.com to be deactivated, as I’m unable to recover it. This will also help prevent inactive accounts from piling up and allow me to link my domain to my new account.
Thank you in advance!

I don’t think that’s possible due to both verification and data regulation laws.

If you know the email address, please login to your Google account, then send a reset password request from the InfinityFree login page. Your phone number is not required in this process.

It is not possible to change the email address of an account if you do not have access to it.

That’s exactly where the problem is. Google keeps asking me for verification, and I’ve already tried to recover my account, but it doesn’t give me any options. The requirement is to confirm through a phone number that no longer exists. And that’s the issue right now, I’m connected directly through Google, not with a password I created myself. If I hadn’t linked my account to Google, I would have already logged in using my main password. But the problem is that Google won’t let me access my account because it sends the verification code to my old phone number, which is no longer active.

I’m sorry, but for security’s sake you can’t have an account that you can’t access deleted. As a policy that’s a good thing- if anyone could have someone else’s account deleted just by knowing its email address and an attached domain name, then that would be a pretty big security hole. And case-by-case exceptions can’t be made, because otherwise that would leave InfinityFree vulnerable to social engineering attacks. (I can think of at least one hosting company that learned that the hard way.) So unless you can gain access to that Google account, there isn’t anything that can be done to your old account.

Honestly, even if someone explains it to you, you still wouldn’t be able to understand. I know the password and email for my Google account, but the problem is that it requires verification since I haven’t used it for years and there are new security policies. To verify it, I would need my old phone number to access the account, but since the number is outdated, there’s no way for me to log in. Open your memory a bit or your brain to understand…

Please be kind. Everyone here is volunteering their time to help you out.

If you are unable to access your Google account, then you are also locked out of your InfinityFree account. I highly recommend you have multiple ways of logging into each account you own, to protect against cases like these.

If you know your account username (if0_xxxxxx) and password, you can login to the control panel / FTP and download a copy of your files which can then be uploaded to a new account.

I have the files on my computer, I had made a whole system. If you want me to upload the files here, no problem. But before I updated to Windows 11, I took all my copies on the site and saved them in mediafireI can send them to you but I can also give you the username and password that I have saved on my Discord server.

Probably a silly question, but what happens if you select “try another way” (next to the send button) Does that give you another option?

I’ve had a gmail account for over 10 years, and when I first set it up, I had to set up a recovery email that I can use to recover the account

Google account recovery seems to be unpredictable at times. There is also no human support you can directly contact. So you will be stuck based on how your account was originally setup before this very event. Phone recovery enforcement was a more recent addition (speaking in a very relative terms). I still receive reminders that I need to set a phone number. But when I made a Google account, as I remember, only a secondary email was required. If the email option doesn’t appear in recovery, try again later in a much later time, preferably after at least 24 hour intervals. Also, this is very important, if you remember the last IP address (or the ISP’s IP block) range you last made successful login, you might just be able to login back. If you also have the last device you made a successful login paired with the last successful IP range, then you might be able to pass through. Might.

I don’t want your files or your user information. If you know the hosting account username and password, please login to the control panel at cpanel.infinityfree.com and delete the domain from there. Then, create a new client area account, a new hosting account, link the domain, and upload the files. Lastly, make sure you have multiple ways to access the account, especially if you are relying on a third party service.

I want to ask. If it is the same password that I use from I want to ask. If it is the same password that I use in the FTP server, will it be activated? Because I have saved my data in the FTP

Use the FTP password and follow my reply above.
