It seems like the hosting requires NS records to be used in order to bind domain to the hosting?
I prefer to park my domains at cloudflare and then just point them to the hosting via A records. Is it possible to avoid using NS records with custom domains?
Thank you very much, this is exactly what I needed. A bit odd that it wants me to prove ownership. That’s an odd feature. I guess this is done to avoid conflict between different accounts trying to play with the same domain or something? Anyhow, this solves it. Thank you.
Basically, yes. And to avoid congesting the servers with domains that don’t exist (either because people don’t understand they need to register the domain somewhere or just a typo) or are not owned by the person who wants to add it. You’d by surprised by how many people think they can claim googe.com for themselves by adding it to their account.
