Recover website data after deactivation (12 days)

account: epiz_34083868

Due to inactivity for more than 30 days, my account was deactivated on 24th of august 2023. Today 05th of September (12 days after deactivation) I reactivated the account, but my htdocs folder is EMPTY…

How can I recover the datas? From what I read in the documentation, the deactivation should not delete the data: how this could happen?

Thank you for your help.
Best.

Hi and welcome to the forum, there was a corruption recently which caused some of the files to get lost:

I think this has nothing to do with my case since this happened 20d ago and 12 days my website was still up and running…
Anyway to have someone check to recover the files?

What is your website’s URL, and what is the hosting IP of your account?
It can be found in the client area (mine is shown as an example):

I checked your account, and I see it’s hosted on the IP address 185.27.134.98. Which is one of the IP addresses affected by the storage issue in August, so that would be the most likely cause.

But regardless of whether you are were affected by that outage, or something else happened, the situation is pretty much the same. The files you see in the file manager are the files we have for your account. If there were any other files that have been modified or removed in the past by anyone or anything for any reason, then we have no way to roll your account back. We don’t make backups of free hosting accounts.

So no matter what caused this issue, I’m sorry to say that there is nothing we can do for you.
