Need "pointing DNS records" of InfinityFree

Hello,

I have my domain registered at hover.com and my website’s files hosted here at InfinityFree. Works well!

Now I want to create an email address at hover that just forwards to a Gmail address. I have talked this through at lengths with the hover support and they eventually said that I need the “pointing DNS records” from InfinityFree, in order for the email forwarding to work. They said that these are usually CNAME or A records. Unfortunately I cannot find them anywhere.

Is someone able to help me with this? Thank you very much!

Note: I am on free InfinityFree plan.

I’ve done all this. I set up MX and SPF records in the control panel, but that’s not enough, because Gmail requires TXT/DKIM records… I’ve talked this through with the support. They said InfinityFree has to provide the “pointing DNS records” which I then have to enter at hover.com.

not possible here. best move nameservers back to hover.com, add all required records and point A record to Infinityfree server ip as shown in client area.

You can configure the SPF records for Google on our hosting, but not the DKIM records.

Are you using Hover’s nameservers? If so, then all DNS records for your domain should be configured at Hover, both for your email and for your website hosting with us. For the part of integrating our web hosting with Hover’s nameservers, guide should help you with that:

If you are using our nameservers, then Hover’s support is mistaken. You don’t need to configure anything else for our hosting, because our nameservers already have the right records for our website hosting, but not for their email hosting.

Thanks everyone, I have set this up with ImprovMX now! Seemed to be the easiest solution.
