Nameserver

How to add nameserver in infinityfree

If you’re using a free subdomain from us, please note you can only use it on free hosting and exceptionally on Premium Hosting if you decide to migrate your hosting account, then nowhere else.

If you’re using your own domain, then you can make the change through your domain registrar’s DNS/nameserver management panel.

Steps

This guide assumes you set up your own domain (NOT our free subdomains) with us by pointing it to our nameservers and through Spaceship’s panel, but you’re free to change the nameservers to whatever you want after you went to change them:

How to link aws to domain name in infinityfree

I feel like you really need to provide more information on what you are trying to do. AWS has over 300 products, link what?

Also, there is no IF+AWS integration, what do you want to integrate?

How to create custom domain and add nameserver

Well, first you’ll need to register one from a domain name registrar, such as Spaceship.

Adding to what @EdwardHamHam said, if you don’t have too much money or a credit card and want free custom domains you can try this, though it’s at the cost of waiting or having some cents on your credit card:

In the case of the first one you’ll get to add the nameservers right at the domain creation step; for the other you’ll have to change them afterwards.

It sounds like you’re mixing two different features from Route53.

There is the Registered Domains feature, where you can buy domain names. If you bought your domain name with Amazon Route53, you’ll be able to set your domain’s nameservers here.

Another feature is Hosted Zones, where you can use Route53 to host your domain’s DNS. You could use this as an alternative to our nameservers.

These are completely separate features. Sure, you can register your domain with Route53 and host your DNS with them as well, but you can also delegate the Registered Domains elsewhere or setup a DNS zone for a domain that’s registered with a different provider.

Please check for yourself where you have purchased your domain name. If you did it with Amazon, you can find it in the Registered Domains list in Route53.

If you just created the Hosted Zone and hoped that doing so would also give you the domain name, then I have to disappoint you: it doesn’t work that way, you can’t get any domain you want for free, and you’ll have to purchase an available domain name to use it.

And please note that our free subdomains cannot be hosted elsewhere, and so it’s not possible to set custom nameservers on them.
