the support of strato told me its not theire fault. he told me that the nameservers are broken or perhaps just dont work. the nameservers i tried to use are:
ns1.infinityfree
ns2.infinityfree
i also tried it with a dot at the end. still the same error message- what can i do?
Hi and welcome to the forum! Sounds like the issue you’re having is the one explained in this article:
hmmm but thats stupid. it worked with the old nameservers like ifastnet too…
If your domain has one of the extensions mentioned in the article, this is enforced at registry level and unfortunately nothing can be done.
If it’s a registrar restriction, then you can transfer the domain to another registrar, or try to lift the restriction.
I looked up Strato’s documentation and they seem to mention offering DNSSEC as part of their “Domain Guard” service, so disabling it from there should help:
