Migrate domain from NameCheap to InfinityFree help

Hi, I am trying to move a domain (imulat.org) I have bought over to infinityfree so I can host it at infinityfree. I have changed my nameservers over to infinityfree’s, what do I do next? (I have used nameservers ns1.infinityfree.com and ns2)

Thank you for helping,
Rohan

Hi,
Just clarifying, do I need to buy hosting on Namecheap (the place where I bought it from), or can I just host it from infinity free?
Sorry, I’m pretty bad at these kinds of stuff.

Thanks

No, as long as you own the domain name you can host it free here.

Hi,

In the article (How to add your own domain to your account), it says “go to your hosting account…”

  1. Go to your hosting account.
  2. Find the Domains list.
  3. Click the Add Domain button in the corner.
I can’t seem to find the Add Domain button, is it on “Account section” in dash.infinityfree.com?

can you see this?

click on that

after that it will popup this section

and select the free one

Hi,
After clicking that, I got this popup. How can I choose to host my own domain?
Thanks

To host your custom domain with us, you need to create a hosting account first.

If you don’t have a hosting account yet, you’ll need to create it first using that screen. Please note that you must choose a free subdomain first, you can add your own domain after the account is created.

Once the account is setup, then on the Accounts menu, find the account to use in the list, and click Manage next to it. On the next screen, right in the middle of the page, is the list of domain names on your account. In the top right of that list is the “Add Domain” button.
