Create a hosting account

Before you can create a new website with Site.pro, you will first need a hosting account. You can create a hosting account with a free subdomain or with your own domain.

Open the Site.pro website builder

You can start creating your website like this:

  1. Go to the Accounts menu in the client area.
  2. Go to your new hosting account.
  3. Click the Site Builders button in the Domain and Website Options menu.
  4. Find your domain in the list.
  5. Click the Create Website button.

Create your website with the Site.pro builder

Once you have opened the builder, you first need to select one of the many available templates. When you have selected a template, you can edit your website from there. You can add text, images, change the layout and the design.

Publish your website to your hosting account

When you are happy with your website, you can publish it to your hosting account. To do so, click the big green Publish button in the top right corner of the page.

When you click it, your website will be generated and uploaded to your hosting account.

When it’s done, you can open the URL of your website to see your new website!

I think that it’s necessary to mention it is impossible to use Site.pro with other softwares, say WordPress, together, that such attempts will result in a broken site.

That’s a good idea, yes. But my plan is to add a check to the client area to check for the presence of other website files and warn people if another website already exists.
