I am not able to create a subdomain

Hello,
This is second time I am trying to create a subdomain but when I try to choose the error appear and I am attaching screenshot. Even I type subdomain name more than 2 characters.

Hi and welcome to the forum

According to your screenshot, it looks like you requested a domain instead of a free subdomain

because the title of the window contains the text found on the domains option

please do:

if you still have some problems, try this

Please clear the browser cache by pressing a few times Ctrl + F5 while viewing your website.
If that doesn’t help (because some browsers are stubborn) then follow these instructions

I think the OP is creating a hosting account, so he won’t have the Domains screen you expected to see from the title as he still has to create it yet.

@jacob_henry, can you read? Please choose a subdomain name that’s at least two characters long (not only one), and only after that you can check the availability and create the hosting account!

Still unable to resolve the issue. I don’t have these options.

I don’t know what to tell you…
I tried to make a new account from scratch
and the process of choosing the desired subdomain works normally

Can you show us what happens when it’s a subdomain that’s at least two characters long?

I’m still not sure what “problem” there was. You can’t create a subdomain with 1 character. New user or old user, new account or old account, it’s not possible. Creating new accounts or adding to domains to existing accounts with two or more characters works fine.

Also, I tried to look for this new account, and can’t find it on this profile. Please note that you are only allowed to have up to 3 free hosting accounts. That’s three free accounts per PERSON, signing up multiple times with different email addresses to bypass this limit is not allowed and may result in the termination of all your accounts.

I don’t know what was the problem. Although I choose a domain name but when I press enter what I see there is 0 in the box. I tried this 3 4 times but same problem persist then I created another account with different gmail.

See the name I chosen but I when I press the button check availability then there is 0 in the box.

Whenever I type, a zero (0) appears first

It would appear that something is going wrong with the Javascript code in your browser, and instead of retrieving the data from the field, it’s changes to “0” for some reason.

I don’t know why this would happen and it doesn’t appear to happen for me. Do you have any unusual browser extensions or settings that could cause this? Could you check if you get the same issue with a different browser, preferably without any extensions?

I think problem is not in browser. As I mentioned earlier I created another account and everything working fine there. I am practicing there.

If it works for you, then great, but there should be no difference in that page for different profiles. And especially not user specific bugs that result in form inputs getting mangled.

Maybe it’s something like this (if you remember, we corresponded by e-mail in “real time”)

but of course without E500.

Maybe the user has very old JS in the cache, which then goes crazy because it is not compatible with the new code…
So when he made a new acc it suddenly worked/refreshed

I don’t know, I’m just listing possible reasons
