How to renew Free SSL certificate?

I have sent the request for SSL certificate.

But its been days since then but i am still stuck on step 3 of setting up the DNS record, even though I’ve already updated the information in the control panel.

Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there something I might be missing or a step I should double-check? Any help would be appreciated!

Make sure the domain you’re ordering the certificate to is not misspelled, as that could cause you to not go ahead; also, if you’re using Cloudflare and the domain is not misspelled, you have to add the DNS record on the DNS section of their dashboard, obviously turning off the orange cloud before saving the record.

I checked your DNS record by hand and I can confirm that there is no CNAME record setup with the correct name.

Then you’ve updated it in the wrong place. As it says higher on the page:

We couldn’t identify the nameservers of your domain name.
Please set up the CNAME records at your domain’s DNS provider.

The current nameservers of your domain are: ns75.domaincontrol.com, ns76.domaincontrol.com.

This tells you that your domain name is currently using Go Daddy’s nameservers, not ours. So you need to setup the CNAME record at Go Daddy, any DNS settings on our end will not affect your domain name.

A post was split to a new topic: Google Trust

Yes, my domain name is currently using GoDaddy’s nameservers.

I just updated the CNAME record there.

Thanks for the quick response
