Check the certificate viewer page and make sure there is not a “validate” or “install” button that you need to click

It doesn’t specifically tell you what to do. But if you stop and look carefully, you’ll see there is only one thing you can do: click the Manage button.

When you click that button, you’ll be brought to a page that has a LOT more information about the current status of your certificate, setup information, and buttons to move the process along.

And you’ll probably need to click some of those buttons, because certificates don’t leave the Pending stage on their own. So if you just keep staring at the list of certificates hoping something will magically change, you’ll be waiting for a very long time.
