certificate INSTALLED CORRECTLY -but-no-green-padlock
instead i get this:
(https://www.giveawaay.com): The certificate is not trusted in all web browsers. You may need to install an Intermediate/chain certificate to link it to a trusted root certificate. Learn more about this error. The fastest way to fix this problem is to contact your SSL provider.
(HOW DO I FIX THIS BECAUSE REALLY SIMPLE PLUGIN AND THE SEARCH AND REPLACE HTPPS NOT WORKING FOR ME. THANK YOU.)
Simple for some, who are very advanced at codeding,
their lucky.
i expect one day someone will create a program utility
that does it all …in a couple of clicks.
but at present, this kind of codeing
looks like it belongs in a Museum.
What do you mean “this kind of coding”? SSL is really simple to get, especially with IF, you just have to click a few buttons and copy and paste some text, and it tells you exactly what to do! There is no way it can be made simpler.
Yes that video is better, thanx “G”…
the biggest problem i have with this Whole concept,
is that …“Nothing is AUTOMATED”
everything has to be done MANUALLY.
Why cant there be a simple utility, where all you do is,
1.Enter your Website URL
2.Click “ACTIVATE SSL”
------------Done ! ---------
Well, you have to prove your the owner to both the system, and the browser of the websites user (that’s what the CNAME records are for), and then you have use the certificate as your “proof” to the browser. If you remove these steps, (or let the computer do them) than it really becomes less safe.
Yes I have the padlock. It works. I have realized I need to upgrade on my hosting account to enjoy 100% security. Infinityfree (free hosting account) only offers 88% SSL security. No matter what you do in your WordPress you are still limited to 88%, unless you purchase the premium package. You need to upgrade to premium to enjoy full services. I also noticed that infinityfree doesn’t grant access to mail inbox on free hosting, so basically your rankings will be lower until you upgrade. There are a lot of content prblems that WordPress exposes on free hosting… An in death exploration boils to the facts that un upgrade is a must to reach the seo ranking requirements.
That sounds like . “Trying to make sense…out of Nonsense”
Whoever created this procedure, must have realized
theres loopholes in this method.
its outdated, and open to abuse.
My account is currently suspended by infinityfree for reaching the daily CPU limit and scheduled to be released after 24 hours. This is second time getting this message… I have also received a message in my mail by same hosting company that my website will be totally suspended and will not be released if I receive this warning continually for 40 times. To prevent this limitations I must upgrade account to ifastnet.com.
That’s what premium hosting has with their Let’s Encrypt integration. It says so in the text box on the right of the page on the Free SSL Certificates page.
Are the percentages something you came up with yourself to illustrate your point or gave some tool these scores? And if it’s the latter, what tool gave those scores and what points do they say should be improved?
What rankings? You don’t need email for your website to be successful.
