Over this weekend, a couple of changes have been made to the Free SSL Certificates system that should make it a little bit nicer to use for everyone.
- The SSL provider selection now has feature tables so you can easily make an informed decision about which provider is best for you.
- The CNAME Ready/Not Ready checks should be a lot more consistent now. CNAME changes should now be visible within a few minutes after applying them, and no longer flap between Ready and Not Ready for a long time.
- The GoGetSSL synchronization has been improved. Instead of relying on periodic background sync, GoGetSSL now pushes statuses to our system, so you’ll know right away when your certificate is issued.
