I am using a free account for testing before I upgrade to Ultimate Premium. On the free account it says that I have 5gbs of allotted disk space, and i am confused because it isnt letting me upload a simple 1gb zip file. Through filezilla it shows the qued upload and hsows in the index through the entire upload. but the minute that it gets done i cannot see it anymore which is odd because i have other smaller .zip files in there and they work to download as intended. Curious about this because it only seems to be with decent sized files. It says i have nowhere close to my maximum disk space so im wondering why it wont accept the files. thanks

That link may help. It’s likely that your file is just the wrong side of the limit and is being blocked.

If it’s a zip file, I’d suggest extracting it on your pc and uploading the content as individual fioes

Just reread your post, and here are the size limits:

So your 1gb zip file is just a bit over the limit

Ah, this makes alot of sense. Any way to expand these limits? I looked over the options for premium and it isnt discussed.

While premium hosting may not have these same file size restrictions, it has the exact same content rules. That includes the fact that you can’t use yoir hosting account for file storage, or for hosting downloadable files. Those can only be stored elsewhere, such as on a file sharing site.

Premium hosting doesn’t have any file size limits. That said, please note that most of the same rules apply, meaning you cannot use the web hosting for a file hosting service.
