Other Information

Hello,
I’m trying to backup my worpress site using extension updraft plus. It used to work last week, but now I can’t backup files any more, I get the message above within the extension. Am I supposed to move file /usr/local/cpanel ? Where to ?

Take a backup manually, using plugins for it is not recommended.

And if you do plan to use a backup plugin, then please note that we do not use cPanel.

Judging by the error, it seems that Updraft tries to interact with cPanel to create the backup, and that only works on cPanel servers.

Well, I am now actively trying to backup manually but… When I get into the Cpanel/databases section I can read “No databases found on this account” : this is confusing to me since the website is showing OK : where are the datas if there is no database on a WP site ?

Can you try this?

It worked !
I now habe 2 databases : should I erase one ?
I have
if0_12345678_if0_12345678_wp913
AND
if0_12345678_wp913

I suppose that the short one is the important one, would you confirm ?

Please confirm database is correct.
Perform necessary backup before any deletion

Database is correct
I backed it up
I erased if0_12345678_if0_12345678_wp913 that was empty in PhPMyAdmin
now the web site still seems OK but there is no more database listed on my control panel : weird isn’t it ?

Could you please try recreating it again? With the correct name this time, so only enter the name part after the username, not the full database name (because the username is added automatically).

You’re right, that made it, now I do have one fully normal database, thanks !
