Our file manager is still very new, and we’re still working to fix any bugs in it.

I’m replying here to your issue. Because I tested it and I’m not sure if it’s really a file manager issue. Sorry to jerk you around.
I was able to create files and folders without any issues on my own account.
Can you please verify if this is really a file manager issue or an issue with your account? You can connect to your account using a desktop FTP client like FileZilla or by using our Filestash installation. Are you able to create files and folders there?
If not, I would start by checking to make sure that you didn’t hit the disk space limit or inode limit of your account. If you did, your account is “full” and you cannot create or upload any more files or folders.
