Why does epizy.com redirect to infinityfree.com if infinityfree doesnt even give out .epizy.com domains anymore?

And it was Admin’s choice to redirect epizy.com to the main site as it brings in a lot of traffic.

.epizy.com looked the most professional and the best. Theres a reason why .epizy.com was the most popular domain. You guys removing it wasnt really a good decision
Yes, it was. The domain name was abused too much and this was causing harm, also to people who are/were using it to host legitimate sites.
If you are missing it and are lacking a certain kind of of domain for subdomains, then I’m open to suggestions. If you can explain what you liked about epizy.com and what kind of domain would help you fill that niche, please share it.

Strangely, none of my AVs(and no AVs on virus total) flagged epizy.com
However, the .free.nf domain is flagged by the major ones, where i get “scary” popups from my antivirus.
000.pe is also flagged by few ones on virustotal.
To me, epizy.com looks like the cleanest to use, with no antivirus should flag the your site. But the available ones has a higher chance of website visitors getting alerted.

That’s likely because no new subdomains are made on it, and the old flags have been disputed.
The reason the available ones are flagged is probably because they’re in active use.

I think it was good because
- It means nothing,
- It’s short and easy to remember,
- It looks cool.
Other domains like “isagreatwebsite.com” is long and have a meaning.
pretty much the first very important thing is that it ended with “.com”. Thats the first thing. .com is the most popular and used by all popular websites, with the exceptions being .net, .org, and .io, etc. But still .com is the most popular.
The second is how it didnt have numbers. Numbers make it look less clean
Third is how it was only 5 letters and wasnt long at all, it was short and easy to remember
fourth is how the word didnt really have a meaning, it just sounded cool and how you can pronounce and say it cleanly.

Off topic, I know, but I am curious to know how you pronounce it. I say it like “e pizy”, with the “pi” making the sound from “piza” (The city in italy).
Also, I do agree with the other points about why epizy.com is good. Honestly, it’s the only free hosting subdomain I ever liked.

I pronounce it like “Eh pee zee”. The “pizy” part i pronounce just like “busy” but with a Z and a P. The “e” i pronounce like “eh” Like the sound you make when someone asks what you think of something mediocre. Now say all of these fast, thats how i pronounce it.
