Domain suspended

Hello everybody, I´m new here, and I´m stuck… I really need your help please. I made some tests with one of my domains, and I did not know that I have to remove the domain before deleting the hosting account, now I´m unable to use my domain even when I changed the name servers of it. Any recommendation to solve this? I get this screen any time I try to enter so-tecno.com

Welcome to the forum.

I moved your post to a new thread so that is doesn’t get muddled with the replies on the other thread.

Looking at things, it doesn’t look like your domain has been added to your account.

Please make sure you’ve followed the instructions here:

This will make sure the domain is linked to your account so your site can be displayed

Thank you so much dan3008, I had my domain so-tecno.com added to this hosting account

And I assumed that by deleting the account my domain will be free again to be used in another project, however after following the directions on the thread about suspended domains and how to release them, I still having the suspended domain page… Could you please point me in the right direction to solve this?

Fully deleted accounts should make the domain available to use again, but you must actively make use of it.

Have you added the domain to another hosting account yet?

Yes, I added it to a Cloudflare account, to redirect it to a local server I have at home, however is not working.

Make sure that your DNS records on Cloudflare is correct and is no longer pointing to the hosting. Why Your Domain Redirects to suspended-domain.net

Already done that I confirmed my name servers are those of Cloudflare :face_without_mouth:

Hello there, how can I raise a support ticket?

  1. You already have your own topic. Don’t hijack others, please.
  2. You may only raise a support ticket if you actually have a suspended account. If your domain is redirecting to the suspended page for any other reason you cannot raise a support ticket.
I understand that how this feels like some kind of last straw or hope but no, you cannot use this way.

You said that your nameservers are Cloudflare’s. However I’m not asking you to check your nameservers. I’m asking you to check if the DNS records on Cloudflare is correct or not.

Your domain will point to the server, hosting provider or IP address you point it to. If your domain is really pointing to your home IP address, then it’s impossible for us to affect the content shown on your domain in any way.

Seeing how your domain is still redirecting to our suspension page, then I suspect that the DNS records in Cloudflare are not correct, and still contain some references to our hosting.

Also, not only do we not provide ticket support with free hosting, we can only provide support for the services we actually provide. And if your goal is to setup DNS records in Cloudflare to point to your home server, then that’s completely unrelated to our hosting, so we cannot really do anything for you.

That said, if you send us a screenshot of your DNS records in Cloudflare, we can check it for issues.
