thank you for the explanation. However, I believe my case is different: I’m using a .de domain (silvana-schiller.de), and while the CNAME verification was successful, the domain is still not resolving.

I’ve already:

• Added the domain to my InfinityFree account
• Verified ownership via CNAME
• Uploaded all WordPress files to silvana-schiller.de/htdocs
• Waited over 48 hours

But DNS propagation is stuck – only a few servers show the IP 185.27.134.151, and the site is not accessible.

I suspect the DNS zone was not properly created for this .de domain.
Can you please check if the DNS zone is active and complete?

Remember that DNS propergation can take up to 72 hours

CNAME verification, as you can see, is only verification. It doesn’t make your website actually works.

Hello and welcome to the community. Are you sure you did not miss any step in the articles pointed above? I’ve checked and the domain is quite very new. And if my time is correct the domain is not even a day old by the time you started this thread. However, you mentioned you already waited more than 48 hours. I still see nameservers related to IONOS/1und1. Kindly check if you made the necessary changes in your registrar. It might help.
