Database server sql100 is down

Database server sql100 is down

Since roughly midnight UTC on the 11th of July, the database server SQL100 appears to be down.

Which components are affected by this issue

Accounts that use MySQL and are assigned to database server sql100.infinityfree.com are affected by this.

You can find your account’s database hostname on the “MySQL Databases” page in the client area.

What issues may you see

Websites that use MySQL will see database connection timeout errors.

Depending on the website software used, this may be shown as generic database error message such as “An error occurred while connecting to the database”.

The list of databases in the client area and control panel will also be empty. Please note that this does not mean that any data is lost, it only means that the system is unable to get the list of databases from the database server.

When will this issue be resolved

We are doing our best to get these issues resolved as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough details to tell how soon that will be.

What can you do to fix this

At this time, there are no known workarounds.

I think the best option here is to wait and patiently calm down as admin is working hard to get everything running and back to normal again. My website that was not working before is now working perfectly and I can login Control Panel too, this shows they are working hard to bring everything back to normal.
Please wait for your turn.

i deleted the config file thought it was a proplem with me what should i do to return it back !

It says that no databases found is the issue not resolved yet & if solved where’s my database

Oof. That explains a lot. I’m hopeful the team over at iFastNet gets this resolved as soon as possible. I’m praying for you.

For people reading this post, if you’re having issues, don’t post your issue in this topic. Keep it clean, and post it in a new topic. There’s a very high chance your issue is not the same issue as the current issue that is currently going on. If your issue is the same issue that’s going on, just stay silent and wait for announcements.

How long will it take for a solution to be found?

At this time there is no known ETA for recovery, however server teams are working to restore access to affected services.

All the information is provided in the first post of this thread, other information not stated is unknown at this time.

Thank you for the information!

The database server does appear to be back online now, but the InnoDB storage engine appears to have gone missing. I have notified iFastNet about this issue.
