When I send a folder called config and inside it I put a file called config.php, the file .php disappears, as if it were not sent, this folder is outside htdoc, because it is a folder that contains the password of the email, I need the password because I am using phpmailer, what can I do, the file simply disappears, I have already tried to send a file .txt and it appeared, just the .php file that didn’t work

All files uploaded outside htdocs directories are automatically deleted.

The file is not in a htdocs folder

All websites files must be uploaded to either the main htdocs folder, or to the domain specific htdocs folder (like example.com/htdocs).

You cannot upload files to other directories on your account. If you try to create or upload files anywhere else, they will be deleted automatically.

If you create some directory in htdocs and you add a .htaccess file with the content Require all denied, then nobody will be able to access the files directly either.
