Unless you have subdomains on supported domains (like blogspot), which would likely not be offered for other hosting services other than their own (again, like blogspot).

True. I don’t think Google AdSence in an option for free subdomains, but other ad providers may be able to be used. From a legal perspective / fair use perspective, advertisements are allowed. From a technical perspective, it may not be possible due to provider limitations.
