The max upload file size is 20mb and I need 22mb to install a component on my site. I am running joomla, latest version, as my web site and would like to install Stackideas Easyblog.
Actually the size limit is lower than 20mb
These cannot be changed and are limits you agreed to when signing up
Thanks. Can’t remember that far back! (it was only a few months ago!
) And the joomla extension installer says limit is 20, which is what I was basing that on. All good. Will eventually upgrade and can install the easyblog then.
The file size limit on our hosting is 10 MB, but the upload size limit is actually higher.
If the extension is too big, maybe there is a way to extract the extension on your own computer and upload the contents to your account manually? I’m not familiar with Joomla, but a quick web search tells me that there is an “Install from Directory” feature for extensions, which seems to me like it would provide a usable workaround.
