Hello Admin,
Can you help me? My website is not working.
when I type my URL as “colorgrade.in”, it shows “404! We couldn’t find that page.” But When I type my URL as “www.colorgrade.in”, it shows my “Directory Listing”. And when I click on my page “index.html” it opens the home page, but the buttons on that page don’t work. It shows me “404! We couldn’t find that page.” again.

What should I do? Please help me.

unix based system is case sensitive
Index.html is not same as index.html

www.colorgrade vs colorgrade - your site is okay. Probably a little problem with DNS propagation and browser cache

use lowercase letters for file names

I have changed all the cases of the files. But still some pages are working and some are not.

And “www.colorgrade.in” is working but “colorgrade.in” is again showing “404 error”.

What should I do next?

clear your browser cache!
firefox ctrl + F5

with or without www is the same page
but your browser kept old files in the cache

I just did what you said to clean all the cache. But still it is show me “404 error” when I type “colorgrade.in” and “www.colorgrade.in” is working fine.

What browser do you use? try another browser

sometimes in chrome help if you first go to the page
then click F12 (dev)
and then press ctrl + F5

Maybe it is a problem with your DNS cache @Bhavya

In that case, you cannot do anything but contact your ISP about it.

You are not the first user who had these chrome “problems”
(if that’s your problem - that’s why I said to try another browser)

Okay, I tried on another browser. It is still showing me the same problem.
“www.colorgrade.in” is working perfectly fine on every browser, but just “colorgrade.in” is not working.

To clear site cache in google chrome do:

  1. Open the target site to clear cache.
  2. Open Dev tools (F12)
  3. Right mouse click on the reload button(a little bit left from the URL/(Un)secured status) - Empty cache and hard reload.

Site working fine for me.

But when I type “colorgrade.in/index.html” it automatically gets redirect to “http://www.colorgrade.in/index.html”

Still “colorgrade.in” is not working but “www.colorgrade.in”

Your site colorgrade.in is perfectly working fine at my end.
How about you should disable plugins in your chrome browser (if any)

@UnknownLolz Thank you so much. I just tried on my phone it’s working. Then why it’s not working on my laptop. I have cleaned all my history, cache, cookies. And I have no plugins. So what should I do next?
