My state passed a ban on all sites that sell student data. Most of these sites were ones we don’t use, but the one we used the most was Quizlet. This ban affected many of my teachers in my school.
When I said,
That’s when I started non-stop development on (what is now) FlashMate.
I wasn’t going to let my teachers go without a flashcard-based program, and I was not going to accept the fact that I couldn’t learn with digital flashcards anymore.
That’s because if you said MD then you want to have MD syntax in it. Saying it’s MD without supporting all possible MD markups feels wrong for me and probably for others.
That’s the kind of constriant you have to deal with when you are writing softwares for public. It’s no longer a “I like it” “I don’t like it” thing.
Of course you can disagree with me, but that’s my point of view!
Yeah, I know that I have to consider the likes/dislikes of the public. But with only a small community (on my platform, that is), it seems like most of my changes that I liked are accepted. I haven’t had someone (openly) complain about something yet.
… The MD-using community is big… and I might have some people on JriMail that (want to) use MD…

Well looks like this forum is configured to not do so or whatsoever
Also I just realized new iOS version defaults to “keep ratio” when cropping instead of “free”, feels kinda weird
From gaining access to an SSID with well known password, to gaining access to router admin, to steal the other SSID passwords, including the 5GHz SSID. The downside? From where i sit which is a bench in front of my neighbor’s convenience store, to where this AP’s sitting at, which is a fried chicken restaurant, it was across an intersection, which is where tons of people and vehicle passing by. But I’m not focusing at how many bars my phone gets (often two bars, three if the street’s quiet enough,) but the speed. 20mbps stable!
“proudly” doing so since early july 2025, then in mid august the wifi owner i previously used changed their password, then this is the place i’m sitting at since then
