maybe some event will happen that will speed up the Earth’s rotation around its axis or around the sun so the years will flow faster and come sooner ![]()
Oh, since you were talking about our upcoming birthdays: @ChrisPAR, how’s life going? It’s been so long since I didn’t see you online in the forums!
So you are from Japan but are currently in prison in Vietnam?
This is prisoner in Vietnam, you see, black and white only.
Orange in Vietnam is very very V.I.P Class because the Vietnam’s flag: Red + Yellow = Orange. But @ America, orange is the person on jail, American hate Vietnamese, American hate Chinese.
looks stylish ![]()
@wasik405 - welcome to the regular club
- sorry for the one-month delay… I just noticed today ![]()
Here I am on the new win11

in short → AI everywhere
In a little while, young people won’t know how to do anything without AI ![]()
Not very surprising considering it’s Microsoft.
I have to admit, I can’t do my history or science homework without AI sometimes ![]()
The next generation is going to need a neuralink to be able to do anything that isn’t stimulating.
I’m also seeing a new icon on a button of this Discourse beta update, which is the one for copying the links, for sharing stuff and for adding a link to something on a post…
wow I finally worked out how to convert my weird music from mp3 to mp4 using ffmpeg so can now upload my crap to youtube ![]()
ffmpeg -f lavfi -i color=c=black:s=1280x720 -i inputFileName.mp3 -shortest -fflags +shortest -ab 320K outputFileName.mp4
I could have added an image or text but decided on just black ![]()
— edit —
experimenting with adding a background image
ffmpeg -loop 1 -i image.png -i input.mp3 -shortest -fflags +shortest -ab 320K output.mp4
I think AI is cool. Everything run better with AI, I love AI, I love new technique. This is AI and his Python. You see, AI can watch video (Computer Vision), AI can hear your voice, AI can do many thing, but AI can’t sniff, I mean smell, yes. He’s AI, he has no nose.
Used Vim earlier today and had to google how to exit it
I’m a real developer now
I tried VIM for the first time last week and had to do that exact same thing
Then I uninstalled it ![]()
A guy walks in and sits at the bar and orders a beer
After a few minutes he hears a voice saying nice things to him
He looks around but nobody is near and realizes that the the voice is coming from the bowl of peanuts on the bar
He asks the bartender whats the deal with these nuts ?
The bartender explains that the nuts are complimentary
Ctrl + x ???
I remember Esc, :wq if I wanted to save and quit and :q! if I wanted to force quit without saving… That shortcut should be useful for nano but not for Vim anyway.
