At 5pm today, i lost access to my bbc news Livestream. Now i have 3 options. Deal with it and stop watching, use vpn every time i wanna watch, or use a proxy but realized i donât know how do i set it up and itâs not allowed here
I have satellite TV in my house, so when I want to watch BBC News (the global feed) I can without any VPN! The only disadvantages are that you have to have a satellite dish, make sure the satellite youâll point to has that channel in a transponder and also make sure that that channel is free-to-air.
On some satellites/terrestrial relays it might be encrypted as it might be included as part of a TV package⌠At least on Hot Bird 13F/G and on Astra 19.2 itâs free-to-air; on the latter one itâs also in HD, but those satellites can only be received in EuropeâŚ
there is a problem if you are already on the home page
so click on âhomeâ from the menu = you have the feeling that nothing happened because you donât have much content yet, so everything is behind that blue color
but OK
you later play with the hover effects on the menu, alt text for the picture of the owl, etc.
the blog link should be opened maybe in a new tab or use the same menu there on the blog subdomain
because of flow (this blue menu disappears and another one appears and itâs hard to go back)
Itâs always important to consider user feedback as a developer. However, you are right, he doesnât have to but little things add up to the end with a beautiful finish.
Right, so I made another change now that closes the menu when something that has # as link is clicked. Like so the navbar menu doesnât get in the way of the content!
Why does Apple make it so hard to make websites look good on their devices? I canât remember how many times Iâve had to re-figure out how to get text to wrap on a div. Or when buttons/inputs get a weird border radius and you have to set the appearance to none.
