Yoast Seo - sitemap Issue

i’ve changed my subdomain to Custom Domain…i’ve copied whole Htdocs file of old domain & pasted to new Domain folder…i’ve setup all well…website i think working properly…
i was trying to generate sitemap to submit & inform google console about my new domain…then facing problem…

opened this link-https://errors.infinityfree.net/errors/404/
showing 404 not found…earlier it was showing but it was missing many pages…then i checked permalinks…it was correct set to post structure…then i tried to change & again set to post structure…Now its opening the link which i mentioned above & Showing 404 NOT FOUND
Can anyone tell how to fix.

What’s your website URL, and specifically the page that redirects you to InfinityFree’s 404 page?

which file is important for generating sitemap by yoast seo…???
so i can check its really missing or not ?

If i delete my Htdocs files from filemanager…then cn i access it from ftp client ? by connecting filezilla ???

Can you probably show your website url and what you try to access? We cannot assist you when you refuse to provide such information.

I am u nable to create sitemaps…yoast seo opens up 404 error found page…the link i posted in topic

I am aware what it gets redirected to, what we want from you is your own website link, not the redirect one.

What error do you receive?

When i go to Yoast seo…& click on Sitemaps…it opens a window…generelly window opens for Sitemaps details…but it shows me…

This Message— 404 Not Found
The page you were looking for could not be found!

& the Link is— https://errors.infinityfree.net/errors/404/
Actually i was using free domain from infinityfree i decided to go with Custom Domain so i Purchased it from hostinger .COM Domain on 13th June…Then i Added my Domain to Infinityfree hosting in the Same Existing Account which i was using for free Domain…for this i copied Full Htdocs file from the file manager from old Domain & pasted it to New Domain Folder & Changed the url from wordpress setting in General option…Everything was going fine…Website Started working…then i added to cloudflare…Till now everything was fine…
When i decided to inform Google search console about my New domain & to replace it from old…i went to Yoast Seo & for sitemap…then in initial when i clicked on Sitemap…it opens up a sitemap but my pages were missing in that…so i went to permalink & Refreshed Post Structure Again & came back again to open sitemaps it started showing me 404 Page…This is the Whole Problem… i tried many tricks but i didn’t worked at all.

If u understand the exact Situation & Anyone or u have Any Solution please Help ?

Maybe try reinstalling the Yoast SEO plugin? If it’s just that plugin, re-installing may be the easiest way to fix it.

Did you copy-paste it through the file manager? If so, it’s possible that some files may have gone missing or corrupted. Moving files with the file manager is fine (because it can be done entirely the server), but copying involves downloading and re-uploading every file separately, which is more error prone.

Or just avoid it entirely by adding it as a Parked Domain.

No, it isn’t. That our 404 error page. You’ve made it very clear that the button in Yoast redirects to our 404 error page. So we don’t need the URL of our error page, we need the URL of your website.

That’s all we need to know. Not where or when you purchased the domain. Just the domain itself.

I am having issue in my website Pages as an Example website is https://example.com & pages URL which is in hindi https://example.com/ब्लॉग्स & same as contacts page https://example.com/कॉन्टैक्ट & other pages

So when i copy the any url like https://example.com/ब्लॉग्स & paste anyehere in new tab or Notepad ,then links become like this— https://example.com/ %e0%a4%b2%e0%a5%8b%e0%a4%b0%e0%a4%ae-%e0%a4%87%e0%a4%aa%e0%a5%8d%e0%a4%b8%e0%a4%ae-%e0%a4%95%e0%a5%8d%e0%a4%af%e0%a4%be-%e0%a4%b9%e0%a5%88

& Even in sitemaps these links are coming as my page links…i’ve already checked permalink, they are correct
is there any solution for it ? pls tell ?

Again: no URL = no help. If you don’t share it, we can’t help you.

We don’t want the URL of our error page. We don’t want a URL of an example page. We need your website URL to check things.

But you already marked this topic as resolved, so I assume that means you were able to resolve the issue yourself?

I don’t understand the issue.

The URL becoming “gibberish” with all the percent signs is normal. Many files will normalize the URL to something that only consists of characters that are considered safe for URL characters. Characters that are not URL safe will be encoded in special URL notation, which is what all those percent signs are.

So the URLs are probably exactly the same, just represented in a different way.

i understand…but i cant get the Url as same it is set by me for every page…

I’m not sure what you’re talking about.

You can configure your own URLs in WordPress. WordPress will let you use characters that are not URL safe. If so, they may be URL encoded in places where it is necessary. If you don’t want this to happen, or it’s causing issues, the only thing I can recommend is to only use characters that are URL safe.

Letters (uppercase and lowercase), numbers, as well as some special characters like dashes, underscores and periods, are safe.
