I;m trying to connect jetpack with my wordpress, every time, it’s showing errors. so i sent email to jetpack team about the error. they just replied. they are saying that xmlrpc.php file is missing in my wordpress because they cannot access your site’s XML-RPC file.
they’re asking me to contact host provider to fix that XML-RPC file.
Please fix it friend.
It’s not worth it regardless of any hosting, Bloatpack isn’t that good. Use Cloudflare on your site instead if you want a free CDN. Site monitoring isn’t something that’s very helpful if you check your site often.
btw, xmlrpc is commonly disabled by web admins due to potential security issues, you might want to remove that file entirely.
No, by web admins it means website creator, not the hosting admin.
XMLRPC has nothing to do with hosting, and it’s a feature from old versions of WordPress rather than a hosting feature.
