When I try to install X-Cart using the Softaculous installer, I get a MySQL error:
MySQL Error No : 1071
MySQL Error : Specified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes
That error means X-Cart is not supported on free hosting and you need to upgrade your account to use it.
I’ll make sure it’s disabled in Softaculous to prevent any further confusion.
