Hello, I added wukongrental.com as an addon domain on my free hosting account. The root domain works fine over HTTPS, and DNS for both @ and www points to the website IP (DNS is hosted externally, the domain was verified by CNAME).
But www.wukongrental.com does not work: HTTP times out / blank page, HTTPS shows a certificate error. The control panel did not create a www entry for the addon domain. I tried:
Parked Domains → park www.wukongrental.com onto wukongrental.com → error: “www.wukongrental.com is a subdomain of a domain already hosted on this account. Please contact your hosting provider if you want to host this domain.”
Subdomains → create www → error: “Invalid subdomain entry. Do not include www in your entry.”
Could you please add the www host entry for wukongrental.com on my account, or advise how to make www serve the same site? Thank you.

Volunteers can’t see your account or website. Share what you actually see, like error messages and what happens when you try something. That’s more useful than your theory of what’s wrong.
AI tools often get InfinityFree wrong. If a volunteer’s advice differs from what an AI told you, please try the volunteer’s suggestion first.

I couldn’t find anything on the forum or in the knowledge base about those two errors or a missing www entry for an addon domain. So I can’t say yet whether a www entry is really missing, or whether the timeout and certificate error have another cause.
Can you tell me exactly what the www DNS record at your external DNS provider looks like? I need the record type (A or CNAME) and the value it points to. A timeout is what you’d expect if www points somewhere other than your account’s IP, so that record is the first thing to check.
I also need to know how the HTTPS certificate on the root domain was set up. Was it through the Free SSL Certificates page in the client area, and did you enter wukongrental.com without the www? The SSL guide says a certificate ordered that way is valid for both the base domain and www.
If the certificate came from somewhere else, it may only cover the root domain. That would explain a certificate error on www but not the timeout.
