WORDPRESS wont install - stalls on 2%

Error Message

WordPress can’t install Softaculous. it stays at 2 percent and wont move. Script install- tried with default settings. nodes are ok. only website in the account.

cant do a default install. WHy?

  • Most people answering here are volunteers. They’re often the fastest source of help. Admin (the only staff member) checks in about once a day for issues on our end.
  • Volunteers can’t see your account or website. Share what you actually see, like error messages and what happens when you try something. That’s more useful than your theory of what’s wrong.
  • AI tools often get InfinityFree wrong. If a volunteer’s advice differs from what an AI told you, please try the volunteer’s suggestion first.
  • Solving an issue is a joint effort. Try the suggestions you get and report back what happened.

Which website or account are you installing on? The URL in your post is a placeholder, and your profile has two hosting accounts, one of them created this morning. The install is run for one specific account, so I need to know which one.

Also, does any message appear next to the progress bar at 2%, such as “undefined” or an error? If so, please quote it exactly.

Lemni currently only does an initial post not follow-ups.

For the problem you’re having, are there any other files on your account? Even if you deleted an old site there may be left over files so worth checking

Might be a space or nodes issue

magically it moved to 95% after 100 tries and now it stays there. Its a new account, no deletion no node issue. Hey I appreciate the effort and free wordpress host an everything but can you please be more specific if the error is on my end or is it really the product here?

I tried this with Opera and safari and didnt work either.

Please read. I don’t use wordpress so this is the limit of my knowledge.

You will have to wait for someone else to help. And speaking the thread won’t help speed things up

If Softaculous path does not work, you can still upload the files manually.

Thanks man but tell me something I dont know. It takes hours like that to install manually. I figured out that I can install with another domain. The one I was able trying to install was .com the other one I was not successful was .je

Not that long, unless you are using a dial-up modem.

Are they on the same hosting acoount?
