Why aren’t imageboards allowed?
Image board sites are fine for the most part. Porn sites are not. Our terms clearly do not permit adult content, and many hosting providers either forbid or restrict adult content.

What’s the “Chan” content?
Oh, right, those kinds of image boards.
4chan style sites are not allowed because they attract a lot of abuse. Those sites tend to be largely unmoderated free havens of porn, hate speech, conspiracies, scams, phishing and many of the other nasty things on the internet. Because of the high rate of abuse, and because we don’t have the means to reliably determine which sites are not malicious, we have chosen to ban them entirely.
