Why are my images not loading on eBay

I have my SSL certificate so all the URLS are https. The images are loading (desktop) on eBay in Firefox but not in Chrome nor on my iphone. When I copy and paste the URL it loads in a new window on Chrome. It seems to be an eBay problem? For some reason they just aren’t loading in my item description.

The direct link for the image (that I put in my HTML description) is
https://medalliontradingcompany.000.pe/1rcoinbrac1.jpg
This loads fine on in Chrome on my desktop.

The link to my eBay item (see images in full description that aren’t loading)

I was hoping to store images through infinity and use direct links for them in my eBay descriptions.

Can anybody help?

Is it allowed if I pay for a upgrade through Infinity?

I think it should be allowed with the paid hosting although I couldnt find a page that says its possible

Thanks for your help. I’ll ask them somehow. I haven’t figured that out yet either. LOL

Alright, I figured out how to contact ifastnet. Curious though, how does InfinityFree know I’ve used a direct link to an image hosted there?

infinityfree’s server probably checks the referrer sent with the image request but it may be some other more interesting method

Thank you again for your help. At least I’m headed the right way now.

Because of this system:

In short, when you first try to access a website hosted with us, you’re presented with some Javascript code that generates a cookie, and only with that cookie can you access your site.

When you hotlink images from elsewhere, you still need that cookie. But for security reasons, browsers won’t execute Javascript if they are looking for an image. So the image just won’t load.

So the reason it worked in Firefox is because you had already visited your website and had a valid cookie. But your iPhone didn’t.

Learn something new everyday! It looks like if I upgrade I can do what I need too. Thanks for that information. Really interesting!
