I uploaded zip file sucessfully, but I can’t extract it at the file manager (Monsta)
After I clicked the “Extract”, nothing happened, no files were extracted, no error messages shown.

I suppose the extract function is unavailable for free hosting, is it true?

Try extracting on your machine, then uploading using FTP, the file manager is kinda buggy.

So I think the limited extract function may cause some script can’t work correctly.
For example, Joomla, I can’t install any plugin.

Upload a zipfile and extract it is the only way for Joomla’s plugin installation.

If Joomla itself isn’t extracting the zip file, then it makes no difference to Joomla if it’s extracted on your PC or on the server surely?
