I tried to install a PHP softwares, in the final stage noted “Database Password: The installer requires that you supply the database password to create an administrator account, for security reasons.”
Then I typied Mysql Password, noted"Critical Error!
Cannot connect to the database server with the supplied data."
Where is database password? or what is database default password?
That could mean the username, host name, and/or database name are wrong. Can you provide the username and host name you are entering? Note that you’ll need to create a database for the application in the control panel and then provide that database name to the software as well. You may have to manually edit the config file if the installer does not support specifying a database name.
The database password is your hosting account password. You can find it in the client area by going to your account and click the MySQL Databases option.
Ah, lovely. The good old “it’s wrong, you did it wrong, but we won’t tell you what went wrong or what’s wrong” error message. Because real error messages are scary so we just won’t give them to you.
This message says that something about your database details is wrong. Is it the password or something else? Your website should tell you, but they don’t.
