Hello, I’m following up on this issue. My website is still showing ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT and is completely unreachable. Could you please check if there is any server-side or IP-side connectivity issue with my hosting account/server? This is affecting my website launch. I would appreciate it if you could check it as soon as possible. Thank you.
Please be aware that this is not a support ticket system, and none of us are InfinityFree staff (with the exception of admin) so we can’t check server side issues.
However, looking at your site, I get a 403 error.
Can you check that you’ve got an index.php or index.html file in the root of your htdocs folder?
I have checked your website and I don’t get this error. I do get a 403 Forbidden error, but that’s caused by your website not having a valid index.php or index.html file, not a server block. So it’s not a problem with anything on our hosting being down.
What’s more likely is that the connection between your browser and your website is being blocked somewhere. It could be caused by your IP address being blocked on our end due to unusual behavior, or by a security filter of some kind on your end.
If the block is on our end, it should resolve itself automatically after 24 hours. If the block is on your end, we can’t say, you should check that with whoever is doing the blocking.
A good first thing to check is to see if you can reproduce the issue on a different device. Do you get the same issue on your computer and on your phone? On wifi and on mobile data? Are you able to access it over a VPN?
I have tested the website on both my computer and my phone, using both Wi-Fi and mobile data. In all cases, I am still getting ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT / connection refused.
I have also uploaded a valid index.php file to the htdocs directory as suggested.
Could you please check whether my IP address or website is currently blocked by any InfinityFree security filter, and if so, please remove the block if possible?
